A rather gorgeous clean closeup of Severus Snape taken by Julia Beermann from the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone DVD release. Julia kindly sent me the photo, and I was so taken by the clarity and elegance of Alan Rickman's expression that I had to use it on the website. The picture frame is recycled from the "Poster Portrait" on this site, but it looks very good nevertheless. And black and gold are Snape's official colours around here...
